Boot Knight

Boot Knight is a Hollow Knight inspired Metroidvania created for Frenjam 2025. You play as an undead skull who can magically use boots for legs! Can you find the golden boots and collect all the soul coins?
We didn't finish everything we wanted to within the jam due to time constraints, but we were able to finish two regions that we're proud of! We would really appreciate any feedback, and thanks for playing our game.
Controls:
WASD/arrows: movement
E: Equip/unequip boots
Left Click/Right Click: kick forwards/backwards
Shift: Change equipped boots

Whenever i unequip and re-equip the boots the game closes :(
hm, made it to the yellow boots region, to the dark room with the empty pedastal.

since I cant backtrack all the way and there 9s nothing else left to do.
yeah, we planned to have another region and a boss fight, but we were kinda busy these two weeks. Thanks for playing, though!
